Hi my name is Sarah…
…and I’m a textile designer and I run a textile business in the Orkney Islands, up off the north coast of Scotland. To begin with I made lots of cushions (and I still do) but now I also make all sorts of other things like bags, purses, tea towels, aprons, baby t-shirts etc, etc etc. Basically if it’s flat and stays still long enough I’ll try to print on it! I have something of an obsession with screen printing, design & pattern so I have set up Silkscreen & Scribble to let people know what I’m up to, to give a behind the scenes look at running an indie design business and as an outlet for my general ramblings!
